You can buy tickets for 2.25 euro / ride.
or you can buy a m-card 10 for 17 euro and pay only 1.70 euro / ride.

It's easy to download the app.

You can use a ticket for each ride with 'de lijn' and it's valid for a ride of 1 hour.  This means that when you use the coast tram you can go anywhere for only 1.70 euro in case you buy the m-card 10.

This same type of ticket can also be used to take the bus to Brugge.

You can jump on the coast tram not far from the house or get the tram from the LeopolII-plein. (across the railway station)
